"A few West Ham legends..."
|
From Ken Dyer's article:
"Bilic, who could be joined at West Ham by fellow Croatian Nikola Jurcevic, who has worked with him in Croatia, Russia and Turkey, is also expected to appoint what was today described as “a few West Ham legends” to his coaching staff."
Any thoughts on who?
Also MODS...can we get a Slav icon?

I can see Dicks getting promoted, maybe to the u21s with Steve Potts moving up to first team coach.

The only one that i can imagine is Rio once his coaching badges are complete.
Even then wouldn't surprise me after his recent ordeal if he took a year out of the game to be with the kids

I idolised Dicks as a player. But having had a lengthy chat with him last year about West Ham and football, I was shocked with some of the things he said to the extent that I had to question whether he'd actually played football.
One of the things he said was that Reid was a shocking player and our worse defender - which is utter ridiculous.
They say never meet your heroes and he was a disappointing. He is an awful communicator and you can see that on TV when he was a pundit, cringeworthy! - I hope Bilic doesn't do something so stupid as to promote Dicks. Cottee would be decent as he talks a lot of sense.

Would love to see Di Canio in as 1st team coach. Say what you like about him, but the guy was a serious trainer, and be awesome to see him on the bench going mental (but equally not responsible for the main decision making).

i would say there is little to no chance of Dicks being anywhere near the first team next season.
He is currently with the Ladies side - enough said

I've heard Dicks isn't very popular amongst the ladies.
Has no time for anyone's opinion other than his own and, much like BFS, he's got his favourites.

Di Canio reminds me of how I think Roy Keane would be. As a player they'd fuck you right off big time. Constantly in your ear moaning all the time.

O/S names Potts as a good friend of his in the article welcoming him so that could be a clue
